(Crunchy Gujiya)

Material :-

Coconut – 1 dried (grated)/ *Almonds – a bowl (finely chopped)/ *Raisins – a bowl/ *semolina – 250 grams/ *sugar – 500 grams (powder)/ *fine flour – 250 grams/ *desi Ghee – 1 bowl

*Refined oil – two bowls (for frying) ……


Recipe :

First of all we will put Fine flour, add a cup of ghee and mix it well. Now add a little water to it and make a soft hunk. After kneading we will keep it covered for some time.

In a pan we will heat a cup of ghee. Now we will roast by adding semolina to it, till the semolina turns brown, we will roast it with light hands. After the semolina turns brown, we will mix all the dry fruits in it and mix it well. Now turn off the gas and keep this mixture to cool down. After the mixture cools down, we will mix milk in it and mix it well, finally add sugar powder and mix the mixture once again.

Now we make small dough of fine flour. We will roll it in the shape of a round puri. Now we will fill the mixture of semolina in it and turn it off. Heat the refined oil in a pan and fry the flour dough. Once light brown, it will be removed from the oil. Our crunchy gujiya’s are now ready.
